WHAT IS LOAD BANK TESTING?
Load bank testing is an essential requirement of CSA Standard C282-19 and certifies the operation of the generator. Under full load, the generator is tested for a duration of two hours. It is performed as part of preventative maintenance annually.
The load bank test process is such that an external load source (load bank) is connected to the generator in order to run the unit at its maximum capacity for a duration of two hours as per CSA Standard C232-19.
